About Blue Appaloosa
Blue Appaloosa is my art gallery/portfolio. I work in whatever media strikes my fancy, from digital to traditional and in both 2D and 3D.
Animals, both real and imaginary, are my primary subject matter and inspiration. I'm particularly interested in animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior.
Reoccurring themes in my work are "play", and the juxtaposition of aesthetics, such "beauty" and "ugliness", or "creepy" and "cute". I like the idea of challenging people to see things in new ways.
I'm also interested in the idea of telling stories visually, but I'm not there yet.
